The Miami VA Healthcare System strives to provide the best health care in the most courteous, efficient manner. However, there may be times when a patient or family member may have a concern that cannot be solved through the health care team on the ward or in the clinic. If this occurs, and you cannot find resolution within the clinic/ward/section you are in, you are encouraged to contact the hospital-provided patient advocates at 305-575-7007, who will assist you with your concern. You may also contact the patient representative if would like to compliment a particular staff member.

Service-Level Advocates

No matter which facility in the Miami VA Healthcare System you visit, you will always be able to find a Service-Level Advocate who can address and resolve your concern in their service.

Veterans' Experience/Patient Advocate/Customer Service

The hours of operation for the patient advocate office are Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Patient Representatives and Service Assistants are eager to assist any Veteran in facilitating change and achieving service recovery whenever possible. Service-level Advocates will attempt to remedy the issue at the lowest level, but if there are multiple services involved or there is a more complex issue at hand, these highly-skilled employees will assist in the process.
