Free Downtown Parking for Veterans with Appointments

Free downtown parking is available for Veterans with appointments at the Bruce W. Carter VA Medical Center. This parking garage—located at 26 SE 1st St., Miami, FL 33131—is serviced by three shuttles that run continuously Monday – Friday between 9:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. The shuttle ride is approximately 15 - 20 minutes. Veterans with appointments between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. are encouraged to go directly to the new parking garage and take the free shuttle to the main hospital. Veterans who are mobility-impaired are encouraged to park at the main hospital.

We’ve also reconfigured our parking lots to add an additional 40 spaces for Veterans to our large parking lot, moving more employee parking spaces to our auxiliary lot across the street. We are also excited to announce a recently approved project to construct a 250-car parking garage and will be sharing more details as we move forward on the design and construction.

Thank you for your patience as we continue to explore solutions to our parking limitations.
