Miami VA Veteran Creative Arts Competition

Are you an enrolled Veteran with a talent in music, art, drama, dance or creative writing? Showcase your talent and sign up for the 2018 Miami VA Healthcare System’s Veteran Creative Arts Competition. The competition will be held from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Thursday, March 8 in the Bruce W. Carter VA Medical Center's T.C. Doherty Auditorium (second floor). The address is 1201 NW 16th St., Miami, FL 33125.
The top finalists in this local competition could go on to compete nationally at the 2018 National Veterans Creative Arts Festival in Des Moines, Iowa, Oct. 29-Nov. 5.

The entry deadlines are Thursday, Feb. 22 (creative writing) and Friday, March 2 (art, dance, drama, music). Please contact one of the Miami VA recreation therapists listed below if you are interested in entering. Entry forms can be picked up in rooms B1228 (12th floor) or B825 (8th floor) at the Bruce W. Carter VA Medical Center.
