For the third year in a row, the Quality Management service at the Miami VA Healthcare System has sponsored a Veteran family who could use a little help during the holidays. Kernst Daniel Raymond , an Army National Guard Veteran who spent 2012 in Iraq, and his 10-year-old son Bryan were invited in to the facility for a day filled with holiday joy  - and some wrapped gifts courtesy of the employees from QM and the Directors Office.

It great seeing his son’s face when he opened up a skateboard, which is something that his son wanted, said Raymond, whose wife passed away a year ago.

“This was the best Christmas ever,” he said.
