South on I-95 to S.R. 836 (Dolphin Expressway) West. Take N.W. 12th Avenue exit (North). Make right turn on N.W. 12th Avenue. At third traffic light just past Metrorail Station make left (West) turn on N.W. 16th Street. The Medical Center is on right side.
From Points South of Miami
North on I-95 to S.R. 836 (Dolphin Expressway) West. Take N.W. 12th Avenue exit (North). Make right turn on N.W. 12th Avenue. At third traffic light just past Metrorail Station make left (West) turn on N.W. 16th Street. The Medical Center is on the right.
From Points West of Miami
East on S.R. 836 (Dolphin Expressway) to N.W. 17th Avenue North Exit. Follow hospital signage to N.W. 12th Avenue. Make left on N.W. 12th Avenue to N.W. 16th Street (just past Metrorail Station). Make left (West) turn on N.W. 16th Street. The Medical Center is on the right.
From Points East of Miami
West on 195 (McArthur Causeway) to S.R. 836 (Dolphin Expressway) to N.W. 12th Avenue Exit (North). Make right turn on N.W. 12th Avenue to N.W. 16th Street just past Metrorail Station. Make left turn (West) on N.W. 16th Street. The Medical Center is on the right side.
Public Transportation
The Miami VA Healthcare System parent facility is located in the Civic Center Complex district. It is easily accessible by using Public Transportation **. Our Metrorail "Civic Center" Station is located on the southeast corner of the Bruce W. Carter Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center campus.
