Driving Directions

The clinic is located in the same building as the new U.S. Navy Clinic. Drive on Route1 south until you reach Key West. As you cross Stock Island Bridge onto the island of Key West, the road will divide. You would then make a left hand turn at this point onto Roosevelt Boulevard. Within 100 yards, the clinic is visible on the left. You will enter an area marked by a sign that states "United States Navy Medical Command, Key West, Florida." Park at one of the spaces designated for patients. Signs inside the front door will direct you to the VA clinic.

Services Available

The Key West VA Community Based Outpatient Clinic is open from Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.  It does not offer emergency or inpatient services. Available on an outpatient basis are:

  • Primary medical and mental health services
  • Physical therapy
  • Dermatology
  • Social Work
  • Psychiatry services

A van leaves daily from Key West to the Miami VA Healthcare System, and is available to transport patients. Please call the clinic to reserve a seat on the van.

Initial prescriptions for immediate use may be filled at the U.S. Navy pharmacy if they are authorized by your VA physician. The U.S. Navy pharmacy is located adjacent to the clinic. Requests for prescription refills will be mailed to Pharmacy Service, Miami VA Healthcare System, or through the automated telephone system. Medication refills or information about your VA prescribed medications can be obtained by calling the Miami VA Healthcare System Pharmacy at 305-575-3133, or 1-888-276-1785.

Registration and Enrollment Information

Pre-registration at this clinic is required. Patients not previously registered may do so at this location and will be given an appointment for a later date. Walk-in patients will be seen on a first-come-first serve basis. The clinic does not operate on weekends or evenings.
